Update: Life, New Youtube Algorithm Crisis & The Future of the Channel (No Bad news!)

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all doing well.

As you can see in the title of this blog post, I’ll be tapping into some topics that will explain my recent inactivity from my Youtube channel and Blog. The first being about my life. Or shall I say, my PERSONAL life. And the others pertaining to the current state of Youtube and my plan of action. This is a very important post I would like to share with all my fans of the PeoplesBrain hub and the RayneofLyte Youtube Channel to shed some light on things. And to quickly bring relief to the air, it includes NO BAD NEWS. yay!!

So lately, many of you are probably noticing a bit of irregularity in my video uploads on the Youtube Channel and blog posts here on this blog. I first want to say that I really do apologize for any inconvenience or confusion I may have caused on both my Youtube Channel and my blog. 2017 is moving at an extremely rapid pace and as we’re already approaching the 5th month of the year, life has gotten pretty hectic for me personally. That isn’t to say I was hit with a series of unfortunate events, but rather, a voluntary increase in efficiency and productivity in various tasks. There was a time when I would faithfully upload a minimum of 2 blog posts or videos a week, but that has all changed due to some of my other priorities in life gaining more traction. To help my fans get to know me a little better, I’m what one would consider, “a jack of all trades” to say the least. I spend every day of my life investing a lot of time and energy into my hobbies and proficiencies. I am 24 years old and by day- I work a steady, comfortable and secure day job in IT as a programmer. By night, I am a graphic designer and also do electronic music production and run a sole proprietary indie label. In my off time (which is quite rare haha), I tend to do a lot of exploration out in nature which consists of a DSLR camera, and a keen interest in capturing “the right moment”. We call this, photography. If not that, I’m spending time with a close friend or family members.

And of course, as you all know- I have established a bit of an online presence for myself for some years now by running two different blogs and Youtube Channels linked to each blog. One music blog + Youtube Channel, and the other is my RayneofLyte Youtube Channel that many of you are already familiar with, linked to this blog. Both are mildly large in size. So as you can tell, the content that I put out across these platforms is quite “topsy-turvy” in nature! With that being said, most of my hobbies allow me to go the freelance route which enables me to secure additional streams of income in addition to what I make from my full-time job. I have been freelancing for some years now and I must say, it’s definitely a goal for me to be able to run my own businesses full time. The light at the end of the tunnel is still very bright and visible. And it’s starting to blind my eyes..

“But RAYNE, how the HELL do you manage to keep up with all this??? “

GREAT QUESTION! I’m so glad you asked…

Back then when I was just getting started with all this around the time when I started college, I was a helpless victim of procrastination and “writer’s block“. Two of the absolute worst behaviors to acquire for anyone creating or establishing anything in life.  Now don’t get me wrong, I still suffer from these till this day. But forming a proper work-life balance and creating a steadfast schedule for myself has granted me the appeasement of keeping procrastination very
minimal and “writer’s block” almost non-existent. So far so good!

“A picture of what my studio WAS (early 2016), which seems to include a lot more equipment now…”

Folks, I just want to say that I am a one-man army and everything you see across my works is done by myself only. Making videos is a very stressing and tedious process as everything has to be done correctly, professionally with zero errors. Not to mention, having your own unique style and spin on the video editing process. Add the ongoing narration of full-length biblical books to all this. Trust me, it’s harder than you think. But I can assure you friends, that from here on out I will be posting/uploading a lot more high-quality content to the BEST of my ability, even if it kills me. I will continue pushing more videos such as audio biblical narrations, the ever-so-interesting “GREY PILL” video series which have gained popularity and shares across social media, and MORE. …I also plan on updating the design and layout of this blog and taking it to the next level.

As you can see in the photo above, I take my hobbies very seriously.  In my room alone, I have thousands of dollars invested in equipment. These are genuine passions that allow me to not only share my talents and research abilities with the world, but it also allows me to connect with other like-minded individuals. Or shall I say, other fellow black sheep who have escaped the pen and chose to stop following the cattle herder. This is very important when you already feel like an outcast in a society that you feel you don’t really fit in with. In the online world, you can easily pick and choose where you want to fit in without having to deal with the suppression of conformity, all the while keeping anonymity if it be at your discretion. This is the main reason why I do what I do.

Now on to the juicy part:

Major TV Networks/News Outlets/Fortune 500 Companies boycotting Youtube Ads

Many of you have probably already heard of the new Youtube Ad Crisis that’s going on right now- and many of you probably haven’t. For those who haven’t, I’ll explain very briefly what this is about and how it affected just about 99% of all content creators. Basically, TV Networks, News Outlets, and Fortune 500 companies are pulling their ads from any and all content on Youtube they deem as “offensive” by any means. Even the least sensitive of information that can be found in videos has resulted in ads being taken off and even videos being deleted and Youtube Channels being shut down. I guess our first amendment right came with a set of stipulations eh? Correct me if I’m wrong….

As a result of all this, millions upon millions of Youtube Content Creators have noticed strange things happening in their Youtube Accounts. Such as significant revenue decreases, Video deletion/monetization, copyright strikes, channels suddenly being shut down without notice, etc. Rest assured, my Youtube Channel has been affected by this, but it has shown NO signs of SHUTTING DOWN entirely. I think we can all sigh a great sigh of relief now….

All together now:  “sigh….”

This is mainly due to the fact that I spent time in making sure all of the content on my channel follows Youtube Policies and Guidelines. Even though some of my videos may seem a bit controversial, it contains zero threats to anyone(groups) and does not involve terroristic or offensive material.  I have made sure of this time and time again in my video titles, descriptions and meta tags because I knew an event like this would eventually come. But the reason why I wanted to share this with everyone is so that it makes more sense as to why I had some inactivity these last few weeks- to ensure my channel was in good standing since the Youtube crisis took place. I needed to make sure that my channel wasn’t going to be shut down abruptly without notice!  I read all over the net that by the middle of this month, things should start picking back up on Youtube. I already see an improvement in my analytics.

The Future of the RayneofLyte Youtube Channel

Aside from the Youtube Ad Crisis that recently took place, the Rayneoflyte Youtube Channel and this blog have gained staggering popularity and I am deeply humbled by the successful short-term growth. I noticed that once I started diversifying the type of content that I uploaded, I started gaining a lot more fans catering to different audiences. Which I find really astounding considering the fact that my original plan for the channel wasn’t quite what it has been recent. But this is why they say, “you gotta go with the flow, even when it ebbs and flows“. Give the people what they want especially if it’s something you’re passionate about and spend every waking hour of your off time committing to it. For me, that’s researching, scouring and finding amazing content in books and on the deep web about various topics that would be beneficial to just about any person in any situation. Whether it be personal growth, spiritual guidance, financial advice, conspiracy education, hidden history, technology secrets, you name it! I do it all!

Thank you everyone for reading. 🙂
